Fantastic Beasts and where to find them |
But Hawk are true to their word - we have 3 more days of advent calendar to catch up on.
First I'll do Thursday's (15th) some gribblies or fauna for Dropzone games. Those that went to Invasion in September may have seen these as a work in progress. They look great, but I could do with something to see scale. Interested enough to see how they will be packaged, a few in a blister, or an "all you'll need" in a box
Next up is the sector upgrade pack from the 14th. These are properly amazing. I already have the resin sectors from the kickstarter (all painted I'll have you know).
Here's hoping for a blister with 3 of each in for around 9 or 10 pounds. That gun is frigging huge!!!! I think someone is over compensating.
Last for now is from the 13th - unlucky for some. You'd be forgiven if you mistook this for a Dropzone model. With the shape, the vents and the"eyes" at the front it certainly looks like a new fast mover/gunship or drop-ship. But you'd be wrong. This is the Scourge hunter-killer (corvette). It is very different to how I thought it would look. I'm not sure I like it (for fleet) to be honest. It doesn't fit with the Scourge fleet theme at all. I may well get some to use in my dropzone army though I think they will make great conversions for something, depending (once again) on scale.
I really like these peeks into what's coming
Keep it up Hawk.
I quite like the Nickar as I see it as a Fleet/Zone hybrid model. It's a spaceship that operates primarily in the skies over a planet, so I see elements of both game styles in it. At least... that's how I've justified it to myself!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm with you. I like the model as a DZC aircraft of some kind. Less keen on it as a fleet asset.
